who are keen to jump on the music composing bandwagon.
The

process, technically as well as creatively. So we welcome
contributors to this section. It doesn't matter if your
article is a small write-up about an instrument that you
play, user-friendly software that you found to create
music or some experience that helped you improve your
music creation skills. Do share it with us. Send your

Go
Digital with your Guitar
- Dr.Pradeep

"A
guitars natural sound can be layered with a synth
pad that has been transposed down to give a rich thick
sound that just might shake your boots!

Percussion
: A Way of Life
- Anurag Tripathi
|
|
"To
me percussions a way of life. This is probably
the only discipline in music which does not require
an expensive piece of instrument to make music. You
can create rhythm on a table top with your fingers,
a tin can, with a pen, pair of chop sticks, anything
that resonates. I dont need an elaborate drum
kit to come up with a pattern. Two hands and a table
top will do nicely. Of course the more the elements
the more intricate your pattern can become."

Computer
based music composing has become a lot popular with
the new breed of music composers. They have started
talking about Software Synths and Flangers
and Filters in music programs. These synths
were basically not available to people who had just
started to compose music due to the cost and maintenance
troubles. Furthermore, nobody was ready to teach the
techniques of using synthesizers, (synths as they are
lovingly called). Nowadays, with the advent of software
synthesizers that could be used on any normal PCs affordable
by anybody.
